Giles Allen is a partner of Heidrick & Struggles/JCA Group and a member of the CEO & Board Practice.
His primary focus is on board, executive board, their direct reports, and functional appointments, with a particular attention on financial services.
Previously, Giles was with a London-based executive search firm as a consultant in its Global Financial Services Practice. Prior to that he worked for a boutique search firm, and has more than 15 years of international search experience. Giles started his career with the Economist as a deputy editor and economist with the Economist Intelligence Unit.
Giles graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a degree in international relations and Spanish. He earned a master’s degree in Middle East politics and Arabic from the University of Durham.
