Khoury N. Ashooh is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles' Atlanta office and a member of the Leadership Consulting Practice. He focuses on executive assessment and development, team development, succession, and coaching engagements.
He has worked extensively in the global natural resources and energy sectors, and he has also served CEOs, boards, and senior leaders in the transportation, manufacturing, technology, consumer, and financial services industries. He has delivered engagements for leaders and leadership teams in North America, South America, Africa, Australia, Asia, and Europe.
As part of his assessment and coaching work, Khoury has worked in English and Spanish with executives based in Chile, Colombia, and Mexico. He has also facilitated leadership development workshops in South Africa, Mozambique, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Though based in Atlanta, he partners closely with Heidrick & Struggles’ Mexico City office on assessment and development of senior leaders and teams in the rapidly growing Mexican and Latin American markets.
Khoury rejoined Heidrick & Struggles from another consulting firm, where he served CEOs and boards on a range of consulting projects, including succession, assessment, and team development services.
Khoury previously worked in executive search at Heidrick & Struggles, where he was a member of the CEO/Board, Financial Services, and Education/Non-Profit practices. His search assignments encompassed all areas of the insurance and financial services industries, as well as senior administrative positions at public and private colleges and universities.
Earlier in his career, Khoury was assistant dean of admission and financial aid at Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina. He was responsible for recruiting within an international admission territory, assessing a geographically and demographically diverse pool of applicants, and consulting with public and independent secondary schools about the value of a liberal arts education.
Khoury earned a bachelor's degree in classics from Davidson College and a certificate in Spanish from Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara, Mexico. He speaks English and Spanish and has spent significant time traveling and studying in Mexico.
