Teresa Garza is a client director in Heidrick & Struggles’ Los Angeles office and a member of the Culture Shaping and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion practices. She has decades of experience in building, leading, and managing teams with complex culture-shaping dynamics, ranging from reorganization to acquisition to turnarounds.

Teresa works with individuals and groups of leaders to inspire insights that create greater alignment to purpose among leadership teams. She promotes connections and trust in order to unleash untapped energy that drives high performance and exemplifies an inclusive culture.

With more than 25 years of previous leadership experience in the consumer and restaurant industries, Teresa has a pragmatic approach that is firmly focused on business results. Since joining Heidrick & Struggles, she has led several culture-shaping and inclusion programs with clients in a wide variety of industry sectors, including retail, restaurant, transport, property management, finance, healthcare, and energy. She is passionate about helping organizations across all industries translate their inclusive culture goals into practical actions that help them achieve their strategy and purpose.

Philanthropy and Service

With a passion for supporting others to succeed, Teresa has coached hundreds of endurance athletes while personally completing over 30 marathons and several Ironman competitions.
