Overview
Richard Guest is the partner in charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ Middle East and North Africa based in the Dubai office and the regional managing partner of the global Technology & Services Practice for Asia Pacific and the Middle East. He focuses on board and C-suite search mandates and consulting assignments on board effectiveness, succession planning, leadership assessment, and culture shaping.
Experience
Richard has lived and worked in Asia, the UK, and the Middle East, where he has been based since early 2007.
Within the global telecommunications sector, Richard works with mobile, fixed & satellite operators, equipment vendors, tower & infrastructure companies, and media & content players. He also works with private equity firms related to their portfolio businesses in these segments.
Richard leads the Technology & Services Practice across the Middle East, advising global and local software, hardware, technology services, and professional services companies on their leadership regional agendas.
More broadly, throughout the GCC, he works with leading indigenous corporations, sovereign wealth funds, and family businesses on topics relating to CEO succession and board effectiveness across various industries.
