Todd Monti is a partner in the New York office of Heidrick & Struggles. He joined the firm in 1999 through the acquisition of Sullivan & Company, where he was a member of the firm’s financial services practice.

Todd served as managing partner of the Global Private Equity and Venture Capital Practice from 2008-2015, sat on the North American Leadership Committee, and was a Member of the Global Operating Committee from 2008-2012. Todd conducts executive search assignments in a broad range of corporate roles, including CFO, COO, president, and board director. 

Todd’s executive search practice is segmented into global financial services and private equity. Within financial services, he spends the majority of his time placing CFOs and COOs for publicly traded and privately held financial services companies across multiple sectors, including asset/wealth management, private equity, hedge funds, banking/markets, insurance, real estate, business services, and financial technology.

Todd has also conducted numerous assignments for global private equity firms, limited partners (sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, and other sources of permanent capital), business development companies, and other alternative asset management companies. Todd manages several of the firm’s largest private equity client relationships.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Todd spent five years in fixed income capital markets in institutional sales.
