Overview
Sophie Scholes is a senior advisor in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and a member of the Financial Services and CEO & Board of Directors practices, working with corporate and financial services clients.
Experience
Sophie advises clients on succession planning, leadership assessment, and both executive and non-executive appointments. She frequently works in a cross-border capacity and for public and private company clients.
Sophie has been with Heidrick & Struggles for over 20 years, during which time she has held a variety of leadership and committee roles, including leading the UK Financial Services Practice and the banking sector for Europe; serving on the London Operating Committee, the European Leadership Advisory Group, and the Global Partnership Nominations Committee; and founding and leading the European Women’s Network.
In her early career, Sophie worked in corporate finance at a European investment bank. She has worked out of London, Amsterdam, and Madrid and speaks German and Spanish in addition to her native English.
