Overview
Katherine “Katie” Shannon is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ San Francisco office and global head of the Digital and Technology Officers practices. She brings the worlds of digital, customer experience, e-commerce, and technology modernization together to provide companies with the top-tier talent needed to create a measurable impact and disrupt the status quo.
Experience
Katie works closely with global organizations across all industries to recruit high-impact digital and technology executives, both as operating executives and for board roles. She also partners with venture capital and private equity firms to recruit senior leaders to their portfolio companies.
Since joining Heidrick & Struggles in 2000, Katie has worked with clients across all industry segments to place hundreds of CDOs, CIOs, and CTOs. She specializes in senior leadership across digital, technology, engineering, artificial intelligence, security, and other transformative technology roles. By spending time meeting, building, and managing the talent network within these communities, Katie helps her clients capitalize on the advantages of modern digital and technology leadership in the c-suite and on their boards.
