Overview
Ina Sood is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Washington, D.C. office and a member of the global Healthcare & Life Sciences and CEO & Board of Directors practices, taking the lead on diversity and inclusion initiatives across the practice. She also co-leads the global biopharmaceutical sector, recruiting board directors, chief executive officers, R&D, commercial, and strategic leaders.
Experience
Ina has extensive experience in product-driven healthcare companies, including high-growth and disruptor biotechnology start-ups, as well as large, established pharmaceutical and medical device organizations. Her clients include private venture capital-backed portfolio companies as well as high-growth publicly listed organizations.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Ina was a vice president at a leading global life sciences executive search boutique and a director of another large executive search firm’s global pharmaceutical and biotechnology practice.
She began her career with boutique search firms in London and New York, where she led C-level and board director searches for European and U.S. private equity and venture capital-backed companies.
