Overview
Craig Williams is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles' Sydney office and a member of the global Financial Services Practice. He works with leading financial service companies on NED, CEO, and other C-level roles, with specialization in audit, risk, compliance, legal, and regulatory roles.
Experience
Craig’s portfolio of domestic and global work also includes functional experience covering chief risk officers, market risk, credit risk, and non-financial risk, including heads of operational risk, chief compliance officers, heads of financial crime, and first-line controls. He also leads appointments for general counsels, chief auditors, regulatory, first-line controls, and human resources officers.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Craig successfully built a highly regarded boutique firm, which was acquired by Heidrick & Struggles. Prior to that, Craig worked at a local boutique search firm where he originated and managed executive searches for leading financial and professional services firms. During his eight years at a leading ASX-listed recruitment firm, Craig developed and led their national account management team in addition to managing search mandates.
