SIEPR Economic SummitMarch 14, 2014
Heidrick & Struggles was among a high-profile group of influential business and government leaders as a sponsor of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) Economic Summit 2014, which was held on March 14 at Stanford University. The one-day summit drew more than 450 CEOs, private equity and venture capital investors and senior policy investors.
This year’s conference includes a series of panel discussions on topics ranging from the U.S. government’s involvement in the mortgage market and the impact on housing to corporate governance and the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. John Thompson, a member of the SIEPR advisory board, will introduce a Silicon Valley CEO Panel that includes the CEOs of VMware and Adobe Systems. In addition, Condoleezza Rice, former U.S. Secretary of State and a member of the SIEPR advisory board, Sal Khan, Founder of the Khan Academy and Leon Panetta, former U.S. Secretary of Defense also will lead sessions.
