Overview

Christopher (Chris) Brookfield is a senior client principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Washington DC office and a member of Heidrick Consulting. With more than 15+ years as an executive coach, he specializes in supporting CxO, executive team, and senior executive performance and development. Chris manages worldwide coaching programs for Fortune 100 companies, and partners with executive search colleagues and clients to support critical talent assessment and development needs.

Experience

Chris uses his executive experience and coaching acumen to expand leadership capacity in executives and teams and transfer that learning into meaningful results for the organization. His clients are often still calibrating their leadership shadow and learning how to fully leverage their senior team members and leadership teams. He has coached a diverse set of senior leaders and teams in the Fortune 500 in a range of global and matrix organizations across industry sectors. Chris’ clients say he brings intense energy, intellect, and heart to their sessions. He has coached and supported a variety of senior executives in legacy, start ups, turn-arounds, and high growth situations.

Chris spent 10 years as president, managing, developing and selling a multi-million dollar high-growth company located in Washington, DC.

He is the program director of the Heidrick & Struggles: Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance – International Coach Federation (ICF) certified executive coaching schools at American and Rutgers Universities. He is a co-founder and master Instructor at American and Rutgers University: Heidrick & Struggles, Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance Accreditation.

Chris completed the Team Coach (Team Accelerator Coaching Program and Team Coaching International) and is currently submitting ICF MCC Master Coach Certification (4,000 hours of coaching).
