Heidi Hannuksela is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles' Helsinki office. She is a member of the Consumer Markets practice, the Healthcare & Life Sciences practice, the Marketing, Sales & Strategy practice, and the Legal, Risk, Compliance and Government Affairs practice. She focuses on searches at CEO, board and senior executive levels across wide range of industries. She brings over 15 years of experience across service and media industries and extensive experience in executive search, assessing senior talent as well as building winning teams in various transformation situations.
Previously, Heidi worked as the managing partner of a local executive search company in Finland, and chaired the board of the Finnish Executive Search Association. During the years she worked with both multinational and national companies as well as private equity and institutional investors.
Prior to that, Heidi worked seven years as chief human resources officer in a leading Finnish media and digital search services company. During those years she also led Pan-European centers of excellence focusing on talent acquisition, employer branding and retention. She was a member of the executive management team partnering closely with the CEO and other business leaders in successfully transforming the business and revenue streams in the digital era.
Previously, she worked as HR director of the Finnish subsidiary of a telecommunications company, and as senior HR consultant at a consultancy company specialized in executive search and assessments. Heidi has over 10 years of experience as executive team member.
Before her 12 year-long career in HR and almost 10 year-long career in executive search, Heidi worked as local manager with full P&L responsibility leading a team of about 40 professionals in business language training and translation services for industrial, service and consumer segments.
She received her master´s degree in social sciences from the University of Tampere.
Heidi speaks fluent Finnish and English and conversational Swedish.
