Overview
Loran Kaminsky is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ San Francisco office and a member of the Global Technology Practice. He leads search assignments for general management, senior functional and operations executives, and practice leaders for clients in technology and consulting organizations ranging from emerging to global.
Experience
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Loran was a managing partner of another global search firm in their technology, media, and telecommunications practice.
His corporate experience spans the consulting and technology industries. He was the national director of recruiting for Ernst & Young, LLP, counseling the executive committee and key leaders on hiring strategies while leading U.S. partner recruitment. Before that, as senior director of recruitment for Portal Software, Loran advised senior management on global human capital and market intelligence, and created the firm’s global recruiting function.
Earlier, while Peoplesoft’s vice president of worldwide recruiting, Loran developed and led a global recruiting team of more than one hundred. In addition to recruiting all senior executives, he provided ongoing consultation to senior management on the succession planning strategies.
