Overview
John Rubinetti is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Miami and New York offices and a member of the global Private Equity Practice. He recruits investment professionals, operating partners, and business development professionals for both the general and limited partner communities.
Experience
John’s general partner clients include buyout, growth equity, and special situation funds as well as private credit and specialty lending funds. Throughout his career, he has worked with clients in the limited partner community including endowments, sovereign wealth funds, fund of funds, and insurance companies.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, John worked for a contingency recruitment firm in New York. He helped develop the firm’s recruitment capabilities in direct lending and various illiquid credit strategies. John began his career with Ally Financial in its commercial finance division. He supported the underwriting and portfolio management teams to provide financing for buyouts, acquisitions, and recapitalizations to equity sponsors and middle-market companies.
