Victoria Stead is a partner at Heidrick & Struggles, based in the Dubai office. She currently serves as a specialist in the firm’s Consumer Markets Practice for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Her client expertise encompasses consumer products, retail, hospitality and leisure and media, entertainment and digital. Victoria has been a functional specialist across e-commerce and digital transformation since 2000.
Victoria brings 18 years of executive search and leadership services experience gained in the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific. Having spent her entire career working in talent acquisition, management and development, Victoria has completed more than 500 leadership appointments, including board directors and C-suite functional leaders. Victoria works closely with board leaders to help them attract and secure senior executives in both developed and emerging markets.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Victoria was the head of consumer markets and digital transformation for a global boutique firm based in London. She started her career as a researcher at Korn/Ferry International.
Victoria has a keen focus on diversity-related issues in the MENA region. She is a co-founder and steering committee member of the 30% Club Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) chapter. The 30% Club, a global not-for-profit initiative, launched in the GCC region in November, 2015 to actively promote diversity in the Middle East region, improve female representation at the board level, and develop emerging talent.
Victoria holds a BSc (Hons) in environmental geoscience from University College London and is a trained assessor in psychometric assessments from the British Psychological Society.
