Chris Uhrinek is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Philadelphia office and a member of Heidrick Consulting where he works with senior executives to accelerate the performance of their organizations. He specializes in increasing organizational agility by helping leadership teams align on strategy and innovate in the midst of uncertainty and market disruptions. Chris also works with leaders to identify and reduce complexities that inhibit growth. He has more than 10 years of experience designing and implementing performance transformations for large corporate and private equity clients.
At Decision Strategies International (DSI), a boutique consultancy acquired by Heidrick & Struggles in 2016, Chris led scenario-based strategic planning initiatives to help organizations become more agile and identify the capabilities and investments for future success. Prior to joining DSI, Chris worked in PwC’s healthcare industries advisory practice where he focused on customer interaction strategy and operations. In that role, he helped pharmaceutical and life sciences clients rethink the way they engage with customers.
Chris serves as the president and chairman of the board of Minds Matter of Philadelphia, Inc., a non-profit organization helping high achieving students from low-income families achieve academic excellence and gain admissions to leading colleges. He previously served as a director on the board of Minds Matter, Inc., the umbrella organization for the national network of chapters in 14 cities.
Chris holds bachelor of science degrees in mechanical and biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a masters of business administration degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
