Golnaz Yekrangian is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Toronto office and a member of the global Financial Services Practice.
A former investment banker, Golnaz has more than 10 years of experience serving financial services clients. She focuses on leadership assignments across private investments, including infrastructure and private equity, asset management, investment banking, and consumer finance where she brings deep expertise across lines of business as well as marketing and finance functions in the U.S. and Canada. Golnaz has also worked on leadership consulting engagements with clients in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Golnaz was with Scotia Capital, the investment banking division of Scotiabank, where she worked on various corporate transactions, including private equity, mergers and acquisitions, debt and preferred share financings predominantly in the financial institutions space.
Prior to her career with Scotia Capital, Golnaz worked at Nortel Networks as a software designer in the Wireless UMTS division.
Golnaz earned her MBA from Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario) and a degree in engineering from Amir Kabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic).
