Overview

Sam Burman is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and the global managing partner of the Artificial Intelligence, Crypto & Digital Assets, Cybersecurity, Health Tech, and Industrial Tech specialty practices. He also runs the firm’s Disruptive Innovators incubation initiative.

Experience

In addition to his leadership role, Sam advises multinational and portfolio companies on building the optimal mix of functional executive leadership across technology, product, digital, and data. He also supports high-growth, tech-enabled organizations with executive and non-executive appointments.

Sam works in both public and private settings across a variety of industries, including consumer tech, marketplaces and eCommerce, gaming and gambling, retail and omnichannel, and media and entertainment.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Sam led the digital and technology practice of an international boutique executive search firm and established the IT leadership practice for an FTSE-listed global recruitment firm. Both roles covered the UK and Europe across multiple sectors.
