Kostas Balasis is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and a member of the global Financial Services and Technology Officers practices in Europe, as well as the Insurance sector in Europe and Africa. Within the insurance sector, Kostas specializes in property and casualty (P&C), health, life, general insurance, reinsurance, and broking. He also focuses on helping clients fill senior functional roles, primarily CIOs, CTOs, COOs, CISOs, and AI/ML roles across the financial services sector in Europe and Africa.

Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Kostas worked at a boutique search firm in Dubai, specializing in financial services across EMEA.
He began his career in telecommunications before completing his mandatory military service and earning a master’s degree. Kostas is a certified Hogan assessor.
