Overview
Dominique Fortier is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York and Toronto offices and the global managing partner of the Financial Services Practice. Most recently, she was the regional managing partner of the practice in the Americas. Dominique is a member of the CEO & Board of Directors and the Wealth & Asset Management Sector, which includes the infrastructure, private equity, asset management, and wealth management sectors.
Experience
Dominique has wide-ranging expertise across business lines and functional roles. She focuses on senior-level search assignments for clients based in North America and abroad. Dominique’s experience extends beyond search to include board and CEO succession, assessments, team buildouts, and talent development.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Dominique led the Canadian financial services and North American infrastructure practices at another global executive search firm.
Before that, Dominique was a director at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., based in Menlo Park, California, where she focused on limited partner relations and fundraising. Her earlier career also included investing in private equity with OMERS Capital Partners and working as an investment banker focused on mergers and acquisitions.
