Bill is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Washington D.C. office. He is a member of the Education, Nonprofit & Social Enterprise Practice. Bill is focused on serving the Trade & Professional Association market and collaborating with boards and CEOs to provide culture shaping, succession planning, and recruitment advisory services.

Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Bill served as president and CEO of the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), a partnership of organizations dedicated to the distribution of food commodities worldwide. Under Bill's leadership, GCCA evolved into a global organization with members in 67 countries and a structure of offices to serve them. Bill grew GCCA’s membership to a position where it represented more than 90% of North America’s industry. Through the World Food Logistics Organization, one of GCCA’s core foundations, Bill initiated partnerships with USDA, USAID, USTDA and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to address post-harvest challenges and build the food distribution infrastructure in numerous emerging and developing countries.

In recognition of his success as an association CEO, Bill was named as one of the Top 50 Trade Association Leaders" by Washingtonian Magazine. Bill holds BA and Law degrees from Louisiana State University and has served as a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Washington, D.C. Bar Association. He has also served as a member of the board of the American Society of Association Executives and was the founding chairman of the Foundation for International Meetings.
