Overview
Larry Senn was named the Father of Corporate Culture for conducting the world’s first research on culture and founding Senn Delaney, the world’s first culture-shaping firm, in 1978. He was named the Thought Leader in Trust in America.
Experience
Larry has led culture-shaping engagements for nearly one hundred Fortune 500 CEOs, presidents of several major universities, state governors, and two former U.S. presidential cabinet members. He has written three books on culture; the latest is the best-selling Winning Teams, Winning Cultures. He has written three books on leadership and peak human performance, including The Human Operating System: an Owners Manual and his best-selling The Mood Elevator: Living Life At Your Best.
Larry was a faculty member at the University of Southern California, where he completed his dissertation on culture, and was a professor at UCLA. He sold Senn Delaney Leadership, The Culture Shaping Firm, to Heidrick & Struggles. It is now the culture-shaping group within Heidrick Consulting.
Two central themes in Larry’s life are family and fitness. He has five children, including two who were professional athletes, and seven grandchildren. Larry has competed in 60 sprint triathlons since completing his first one at the age of 70.
