Charlie Clifton is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles' London office and a member of the Financial Services Practice.
Experience
Charlie advises global and domestic financial institutions on board and executive appointments. He partners with universal banks, digital and challenger banks, specialist lenders, and wealth management firms to attract and develop high-performing leaders.
Charlie previously worked at a global consulting firm as a senior managing director in the people advisory division. He co-led the consumer and commercial financial services practice and led the risk practice. Before this, Charlie worked for a boutique search firm, specializing in board and executive appointments in financial services.

Since 2016, Charlie has mentored young people at The Prince's Trust. He was formerly a mentor for the Women in Banking and Finance (WIBF) program.
