Peter Behncke is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Frankfurt office and a member of the global Industrial and Financial Officers practices. He has more than 25 years of executive search experience, specializing in international senior-level executive searches across the chemical, manufacturing, industrial services, and construction industries. Peter specializes in functional roles, including chief financial officer, controllership, tax, and treasury.
Experience
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Peter was with another global executive search firm as a senior client partner in the industry and CFO practices. Before starting his executive search career, he served as a board member of a publicly listed venture capital firm in Berlin.
Peter began his professional career at Price Waterhouse (now PwC) in the corporate finance department, focusing on mergers & acquisitions and restructuring. He is fluent in German and English.
