Lucy Watson is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and a member of the Leadership Consulting Practice. She co-leads the European coaching practice, designing and delivering global leadership and team development programs that drive measurable impact.

Experience

Lucy is an executive coach with over 15 years of experience helping C-suite leaders and senior teams navigate transformation and lead with clarity and impact. Her work integrates leadership development, team dynamics, and organizational transformation. 

Lucy identifies challenges across individual, team, and organizational levels to create clarity and momentum for meaningful, sustained results. Her includes leadership transitions and onboarding, with a focus on CEO transitions, enabling new leaders to quickly create impact and position their organizations for long-term success.

Lucy partners with clients through an exploratory, strengths-based coaching methodology to unlock potential in the financial services, pharma, energy, media, consumer goods, and professional services sectors. 

Lucy is certified in Hogan Assessments and is a certified PRINCE2 and DISC Practitioner. She is a CIPD chartered member.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Lucy worked in a major consulting firm’s people and organization practice, where she focused on helping organizations and leaders understand their talent needs during transformation and change. Before that, Lucy worked in industry senior HR and project roles.
