Sharon Sands is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office. She leads Heidrick Consulting’s center of excellence in leadership assessment and development, as well as the global Executive Coaching Practice.
With more than 20 years of experience as a leadership consultant and executive coach with a deep understanding of behavioral complexity in organizational systems, Sharon has designed and managed some of the firm’s largest global leadership development programs. Sharon also brings an expertise in building internal coaching capability and co-designed the accredited coach program for the internal coach, approved by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Sharon has built a world-class coaching practice to provide senior leaders and C-suite executives with coaching and leadership advisory support for on-boarding, transitioning, and complex business and human issues in every sector.
Following a successful career in the engineering sector in commercial roles, Sharon ran learning and development for an automotive organization, achieving recognition as the global leader in sales and leadership development. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, she led a successful behavioral change consultancy for 15 years, working with clients in pharmaceuticals, finance, technology, automotive, healthcare, and government.
Sharon is a master practitioner in neuro linguistic programming.
Sharon holds a master of science in executive coaching and a post-graduate degree in advanced coaching and organizational development supervision from Ashridge Business School.
