Stephen Schwanhausser is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Stamford office and the global managing partner of the Private Equity Practice. He recruits board directors, chief executive officers, division presidents, and chief sales and marketing officers.
Experience
Stephen’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, private equity, and venture capital firms, and their portfolio companies, as well as privately held or controlled organizations. His practice is deep in fast-moving consumer goods, durable products, and consumer services, including e-commerce and digital distribution. His work spans high-growth and disruptor companies as well as large established organizations.
Stephen’s previous leadership roles include global managing partner of the Consumer Markets Practice. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Stephen worked for Kraft Foods in sales, category management, and trade marketing leadership roles.
