Overview
Scott Adams is the partner-in-charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ Atlanta office and a member of the global Consumer Markets and Supply Chain & Operations Officers practices. He focuses on chief operations officer and chief supply chain officer positions as well as direct reporting relationships into those functional leaders. With the constant demand for transformational leaders, Scott identifies executives with the agility and change management skillsets required to be successful in navigating the current business landscape.
Experience
With more than 10 years of executive search experience, Scott is responsible for developing client relationships across a broad range of companies and across a variety of industries from public to private, to private equity-owned to smaller start-ups and global Fortune 500 companies. Scott is responsible for leading the execution and delivery of single search mandates, these roles have focused on many functional areas including supply chain and operations, general management, human resources, sales and marketing, finance, legal, and others.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Scott led the North American supply chain and operations practice for another international search firm. He was also a senior recruitment advisor at a large international recruiting firm in Toronto, where he was responsible for client relationships, execution, and delivery for a wide array of leading engineering firms both nationally and internationally.
Earlier in his career, Scott was a senior manager at a large international business information company, where he led sales teams in both Canada and Europe, while living for a time in Bratislava, Slovakia.
