Sunny Ackerman is the partner-in-charge in Heidrick & Struggles’ Los Angeles office and the global managing partner of On-Demand Talent, leading on-demand solutions globally. She is a trusted strategist and an international human capital industry leader with over 25 years of operational and leadership experience.

Sunny has implemented forward-thinking ideas and leveraged technology to digitize operations that accelerate change and drive sustainable growth throughout her career. As the leader of Heidrick & Struggles’ On-Demand Talent business, she leverages her strong financial, operational, and digital transformation expertise to continue executing the firm's growth plans globally.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Sunny was the divisional CEO and president at SThree, a global talent firm specializing in engineering and IT skills for various industries, including banking and finance, life sciences, technology, and energy. She oversaw key global initiatives that resulted in market-leading profitability while leading thousands of employees through a global organizational redesign. SThree is an FTSE 250 firm based in London and the largest publicly traded recruitment firm specializing in the STEM sector.
Previously, Sunny was the Americas CEO of a multi-brand global technology recruitment business in the Americas and EMEA, Frank Recruitment Group, a TGP-owned firm. There, she helped expand the company throughout the Americas, steered the development and execution of the corporate strategy, and led an 800+ sales and delivery team in creating solutions for customers’ complex business challenges in the technology recruiting space. Sunny also spent 15 years in several executive leadership positions at ManpowerGroup, including senior vice president and general manager. She led North America's most prominent business unit, which had 2000 employees and $1.5B in revenue.
