Chantal Clavier

Chantal Clavier is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and leads the Real Estate Practice in Europe and Africa. She is a member of the CEO & Board of Directors Practice, enhancing boards for listed and private property companies and real estate private equity portfolio companies. She is also a member of the global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team.

As a real estate specialist, Chantal has a deep knowledge of the market, its trends, and cycles both regionally, across EMEA, and globally.

Throughout her 20+ years in executive search, Chantal has completed searches, succession planning, and board and executive assessments on a global basis.

Chantal has operated across the entirety of the real assets sector, including portfolio companies for private equity, including C-Suite operational platform work such as shopping centers, student, multi-family, data centers, and senior living. Her breadth of experience and track record across real assets (both investment and the built environment) enables her to provide a more holistic approach to search. 

Through her experience working with asset-backed operational businesses, Chantal has placed C-Suite leaders in real estate from hospitality, consumer, and retail. Her creative and innovative solutions help drive change and transformation through talent in the sector. 

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Chantal re-established and grew the real estate practice in EMEA for another global executive search firm.

Chantal is a global member of the Urban Land Institute and is on the leadership committee for The Prince’s Trust in the UK. She is also an active speaker, industry ambassador, and advisor to real estate business leaders.
