Overview
Sean Carroll is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Stamford and New York offices and co-leads the Americas Industrial Tech industry sector. He is a member of the global Technology & Services Practice, focusing on software and internet/digital media sectors. Sean has more than fifteen years’ experience filling senior-level positions such as CEOs and functional leaders in sales, marketing, finance, and engineering.
Experience
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Sean was managing partner with Polachi, a boutique retained executive search firm, where he led all activities in the NY Metro market. Previously, he was managing director of the Barlow Group, and prior to this he was SVP and head of human capital with Pequot Capital.

United States Naval Academy, Bachelor’s Degree in Oceanography

Sean began his career as a naval aviator where he served in the Gulf War as a maritime patrol pilot and mission commander.
