Overview
Tom Cunningham is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office where he leads the UK Financial Officers Practice. He is a member of the Corporate Officers Practice, Europe & Africa and works with a cross-sector client base across the UK and EMEA.
Experience
Tom has worked as a financial officers search specialist since 2005. He advises on board-level CFO appointments for public companies and private equity-backed portfolios. Tom also manages the appointments of the financial leadership teams reporting to the CFO including controllers, divisional CFOs, treasurers, and heads of audit.
Tom advises on several team development and assessment initiatives as well as CFO succession planning projects.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Tom worked for seven years at a pre-eminent UK executive search firm, where he focused on financial officers within financial services.
