Sari Hattanda

Overview

Sari Hattanda is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Tokyo office and a member of the Financial Services Practice. She focuses on senior-level talent in asset management, private equity and private markets, and the insurance sector. 

Experience

Sari has deep experience conducting a range of searches across the financial services industry, with a focus on senior management, distribution, and investment roles in asset management,  private equity, and private markets. She also supports the digital transformation of the financial services industry through technology-intensive roles within the C-Suite for large financial institutions, including banks, insurance companies, and payments and fintech. 

Sari has over seven years of executive search experience, including deep market knowledge and insights into the Financial Services Practice. She has been with Heidrick & Struggles for more than 10 years.

Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Sari worked for Citigroup in Tokyo, where she supported their global markets’ sales and trading in the middle office.

Sari has been a core member of the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee, where she has contributed to its start-up and the build-out of the initiative in the Tokyo office since 2017. Sari is an active member of Learning and Development, where she facilitates training programs for the AAEM community in the region. She is also a member of the Regional Mentorship Program, where she mentors the next generation of talents.

In 2019 and 2022, Sari was awarded the Heidrick & Struggles AAEM Conferences’ Grow with the Client APAC Award.
