Overview
Tim Jensen is the partner in charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ Toronto office, where he also leads the mining and metals sector in the Americas. Tim helps our clients build high-performing boards and senior leadership teams, leveraging his broad industry perspective and deep relationships throughout the global talent pool.
Experience
A mechanical engineer by training, Tim has a deep understanding of the mining, metals, and battery material sectors. He actively supports the industry and has led the firm’s sponsorship of the biannual WIM100 Women in Mining publication.
Tim helps clients with senior-level appointments, regularly working with multi-regional and global teams. Working with colleagues and clients around the world, he has placed leaders in North and South America, Australia, Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He has extensive assessment experience and is certified to deliver and interpret the Hogan Assessment suite of assessment tools.
Tim joined Heidrick & Struggles in 2010 as a member of the Industrial Practice in Melbourne, Australia, working with a wide-ranging client base including some of the world’s largest public and private industrial companies, and mid-sized and startup enterprises.
