Christine Kruger is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and a member of the CEO & Board Practice.
Experience
Christine advises boards on non-executive director, chair, and CEO succession. While her expertise lies in working with UK boards, she regularly collaborates with international colleagues on global board succession projects.
Specializing in board-level appointments, Christine has extensive experience working with listed company boards on complex succession initiatives. Her work focuses on optimizing board composition and diversity while preparing boards for future challenges. In addition, she has substantial experience working with family-owned, private equity-backed, and government-backed organizations.
While much of Christine’s work is focused on regulated industries including financial services, she brings a broad sector perspective, having worked with some of the largest industrial, services, and consumer companies worldwide.
Earlier in her career, Christine worked for the chair of a listed investment manager, during which time she qualified as a chartered company secretary through ICSA, igniting her interest in governance and board dynamics. She began her career with Deloitte Consulting in South Africa, where she advanced to manager level before relocating to the UK.
