Overview
YH Yeonho Kim is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Seoul office and a member of the global Technology & Services Practice. Most recently, he was the partner in charge of the Seoul office. YH has a strong background in software, telecommunications, engineering, and marketing. He has strategic insight into the operational challenges and developing new business opportunities in the technology and IT service industries.
Experience
YH joined Heidrick & Struggles from Hana INS, where he was most recently an executive VP responsible for mobile banking service, business intelligence, and electronic document management. As a vice president with SK Broadband (formerly Hanaro Telecom), he held several executive positions including CIO, network management, and branch head. Prior to that, he was the country manager in Korea of QAD, which is an ERP solution company headquartered in California, U.S.
Before QAD Korea, YH worked for 14 years with Samsung SDS, a subsidiary of Samsung Group. During his time at Samsung SDS, he worked in Samsung SDS America and eSamsung America, for the sales and marketing of system integration services consulting, covering the North and South American markets. Also, he established and managed Samsung’s corporate venture capital in the U.S. as a COO/CFO for the early start-up investment and business development of Samsung Electronics and other affiliates.
He began his career with Kia Motors as a gasoline engine designer for three years.

Seoul National University, BS in Aerospace Engineering
