Overview
Björn Lindberg is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Amsterdam office and a member of the Industrial Practice. He focuses on C-level, senior executive, and board searches as well as consulting assignments within alternative & renewable energy, power & utilities, oil & gas, sustainability, venture capital, private equity, and human resources.
Experience
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Björn spent 14 years in the energy industry holding various senior HR roles with Shell, where he supported the upstream, exploration, integrated gas, acquisition & divestment and the unconventionals business. For six years as VP HR, Björn helped to grow Shell’s renewables & energy solutions business from a start-up into a global scale business. He was accountable for all people matters including sourcing senior talent from the market, leadership development, culture shaping, organizational health, acquisition implementation, and governance of portfolio companies.
Björn has a true passion for developing leaders, teams, and organizations to be the best they can be. He is fluent in English, Dutch, German, and Swedish.
