Michael Loiacano is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Chicago office, the global leader of the Healthcare Services Sector, and a member of the CEO & Board of Directors Practice. He
specializes in executive search and advisory services for board, CEO, and senior executive roles.
Experience
Michael has extensive experience identifying and attracting top leadership talent across healthcare and insurance disciplines in the U.S. and internationally. He is a trusted advisor to clients, including integrated health systems, community hospitals, academic medical centers, health plans, and multisite healthcare service companies.
Michael has recruited board, CEO, COO, CFO, and other C-suite leaders, including chief marketing and human resources officers, and advised on C-suite succession, team effectiveness, executive coaching, culture initiatives, and on-demand talent strategies.
Michael was appointed to Heidrick & Struggles’ Global Consultant Promotion Committee and the Accelerating Women Executives Committee. He has as also co-led the Heidrick & Struggles Inclusion Council.

Michael serves on Merrimack College’s Nursing and Health Sciences Advisory Board and The Leverage Network’s board of directors.
