Vincent Ling is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ San Francisco office and a member of Heidrick Consulting. 

Experience

Vincent tackles complex organizational and leadership challenges pragmatically with an interdisciplinary perspective. He focuses on organizational effectiveness and leadership assessment.

Vincent has worked with clients across consumer, industrial, technology, professional services, financial services, and healthcare industries.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Vincent was a consultant and an HR executive at Oliver Wyman, a global management consultancy.

As a consultant, Vincent worked with clients on a range of organizational effectiveness, strategy, operations, and risk engagements. As an HR executive, he led efforts to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the HR function, including restructuring, nearshoring, and redesigning the performance management approach for consulting staff.

Vincent started his consulting career by helping healthcare providers improve patient flow and safety using various engineering and management tools, including Lean Six Sigma / Kaizen and balanced scorecards.

Vincent mentors college students and previously co-founded the Toronto Social Impact team at Oliver Wyman, which facilitates the firm's pro bono service to leading Canadian charities.
