Jan Mueller is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Munich office. He is a leading partner for Heidrick Digital globally and a member of the European leadership team. He has over 25 years of experience working with HR and business leaders to address strategic talent issues.

Experience

Jan partners with clients to make talent decisions with the same rigor as any executive-level decision—systematic, data-driven, and long-term. He has over two decades of leadership experience in the talent consulting industry, specializing in executive search, in-house recruitment for Fortune 100 companies, and large-scale talent acquisition and development solutions.

Throughout his career, Jan has advised leading companies worldwide, focusing on leadership management and talent strategies. He works closely with clients to understand their strategic needs and talent gaps, developing tailored solutions that drive measurable business results.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Jan held leadership roles in global HR consulting firms, overseeing business growth, strategy, operations, and commercial functions. He has served as a consultant, account lead, country and EMEA managing director, and global vice president.
