Marcos Macedo is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ São Paulo office and a member of the Industrial and Energy practices. He is an experienced management and executive search consultant with over 25 years of leadership and strategy consulting. He is recognized for his strategy and organization design and development experience and for advising senior leaders across industrial and energy sectors. Marcos has extensive experience in the succession of senior leaders, management assessments, and supporting his clients in transformation processes.
Experience
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Marcos spent nearly nine years in executive search and leadership advisory with another executive search firm, where he led senior-level executives search and consulting assignments across a variety of industrial and infrastructure sectors. For the past 4 years, he was managing partner of the firm’s operations in São Paulo, Brazil.
Prior to his work in the executive search industry, Marcos was the head of consulting and services for Latin America at IMS Health (currently IQVIA), the world’s leading provider of market intelligence to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Previously, he built his management consulting career at BCG (The Boston Consulting Group), A.T. Kearney, and Arthur D. Little, where he led consulting assignments within the industrial and energy sectors in Brazil and other countries in Latin America.
