Todd Monti is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles' Miami and New York offices. His executive search practice focuses on financial services and private equity for a broad range of corporate functions including CFO, COO, president, and board directors.
Experience
Within financial services, Todd places CFOs and COOs with publicly-traded and privately-held financial services companies across multiple sectors including asset & wealth management, private equity, hedge funds, banking & markets, insurance, real estate, business services, and financial technology.
Todd has conducted more than 500 searches during his career, including numerous assignments for global private equity firms, limited partners (sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, and other sources of permanent capital) as well as traditional and alternative asset management companies. He manages several of the firm’s largest private equity client relationships.
Todd led the global Private Equity Practice from 2008-2016 and then again from 2019-2022. He served on Heidrick & Struggles’ North American Leadership Committee and was a member of the Global Operating Committee from 2008-2012. Todd joined Heidrick & Struggles in 1999 through the acquisition of Sullivan & Company, where he was a member of the financial services practice.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Todd spent five years in fixed income capital markets in institutional sales. He is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
