Jan Plambeck is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Frankfurt office and a member of the global Consumer Markets Practice. He brings extensive operational retail industry experience to work for his clients in the retail and consumer products sectors.
Experience
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Jan was the COO of a large European food retailer responsible for all sales, supply chain, expansion, real estate, and production activities.
Prior to this role, he was the chief strategy officer and implemented a large-scale transformation program, bringing the company back to cost leadership and a strong customer focus.
Jan began his career as a consultant for a global management consultancy, specializing in retail and insurance industry projects focusing on profitability and efficiency increases. He is fluent in German and English.
