Kim Pomoell is a partner of Heidrick & Struggles’ Helsinki office and a member of the Consumer Markets and Private Equity practices. He specializes in recruiting and developing CEOs, leadership teams, and boards for publicly traded and family-owned companies across consumer markets, industrial, technology, and professional services, and growth venture private equity companies in Finland and the Nordic region.

Kim has a unique perspective and unparalleled access to talent and leadership. He has more than 20 years of experience in consulting, executive search services, and consumer market leadership positions. Kim has broad international experience in multiple verticals, including FMCG, professional services, and private equity sectors.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Kim was the CEO of a Finnish consumer markets company, co-owned with a private equity company, later acquired by a publicly-traded Nordic market leader in its field. He has led two boutique search firms as CEO. One had a versatile HR service offering. The other, which he founded, built, and developed, became one of Finland's largest executive search companies.
