Experience
With 15 years of experience as an advisor to the technology and professional services industries in the United Kingdom and Australia, Max has completed regional and global CEO and country managing director searches for IT services, telecommunications and software organizations. He also has deep expertise in managing partner and partner searches for consulting, assurance, and advisory firms.
Max has extensive experience leading CEO searches on the behalf of board members in addition to consulting on reshaping management teams across sales, marketing, strategy, technology, product, and engineering. He has executed numerous technology officer searches including chief information officer, chief digital officer and chief information security officer for industries including mining, manufacturing, energy, software and professional services.
His domain experience working with world class organizations includes digital strategy and transformation, big data and advanced analytics, cloud infrastructure, software as a service, data centers, networking, and cybersecurity.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Max successfully built a search practice focused on IT and professional services with a boutique firm in Australia. He began his career in talent in London, advising globally-focused UK and US law firms.
