Overview
Victoria Reese is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and the global managing partner of the Corporate Officers Practice. Before this, she led the Legal, Risk, Compliance & Government Affairs Practice and was the first global head of Diversity & Inclusion, advancing the firm's commitment to D&I internally and externally. She has served on the H&S Management Committee since 2017.
Experience
Victoria has more than 20 years of experience in executive search and leadership services with a focus on governance and top legal talent. In addition to large financial institutions and corporations, Victoria works extensively with hedge funds, other investment management companies, and a wide range of community, non-profit, and mission-related organizations.
Victoria is a sought-after speaker and moderator on leadership trends involving corporate governance, succession, diversity, and crisis management. She has presented programs at Stanford Law School's Directors' College, GAPABA, the Practicing Law Institute, Best Lawyers, and Minority Corporate Counsel Association, among others.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Victoria worked with a boutique financial services recruitment firm focused on recruiting senior management in operational and marketing roles. She also spent five years in various not-for-profit organizations.

Philanthropy and Service
Victoria is a member of the President's Advisory Council at Vassar College. She also serves on the Board of Komera, a group that works in rural Rwanda to develop and support young women through education, community development, and sport. For two years, Victoria served on the Capital Campaign Committee for the Windward School.
