Overview
Stefano Salvatore is the partner in charge of Heidrick & Struggles Iberia, co-head of the global Automotive Practice, and a member of the global Industrial and Technology & Services practices. He has extensive experience in various sectors including energy, infrastructure, and renewables.
Experience
Stefano works across geographies on senior level engagements including CEO & Board and CXX, as well as other key functional roles including finance, HR, sales, marketing, and digital. He has also conducted senior assessment projects throughout his career.
Stefano joined Heidrick & Struggles in January of 2000 as a principal. In 2001 he was promoted to partner and from late 2002 to 2005 he was the Industrial Practice leader for the SELA region (South Europe & Latin America). He was also the regional managing partner of the Industrial Practice Europe & Africa and a member of the global industry leadership team until 2015.
Prior to Heidrick & Struggles, Stefano worked at ATKearney, where he participated in both local and international assignments related to technology, industrial, operations, and professional services.
Earlier, Stefano played an active role in the start up of a British executive search firm’s Madrid office. He later opened its Lisbon office and was the managing director of its Portuguese subsidiary. Before his career in executive search, Stefano's focus was within the automotive and later telco sectors.
Stefano has lived in Italy, Spain, Portugal and in the United Kingdom, and speaks fluent English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and has a good knowledge of French.
