Overview
Scott Thompson is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and a member of the Financial Services Practice. He advises business executives on their talent needs, focusing on executive search, assessment, and succession planning for clients across the financial services industry, including SIFI banks, regional and community banks, wealth managers, asset managers, private equity, FinTech, insurance, payments, real estate, and market infrastructure.
Experience
Recent assignments include recruiting chief operating officers and technology officers to heads of security, data development, infrastructure, cloud, architecture, and operations leaders. While his focus has been on financial services, Scott also recruits top technology talent across industries. Scott also works with Fortune 100 healthcare, telecommunications, and defense clients on cybersecurity roles.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Scott was with Bloomberg L.P. in the sales and analytics department, responsible for sales to investment managers, insurance companies, endowments, and universities.
