Overview
Roman Wecker is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Frankfurt office and a member of the Industrial and Supply Chain & Operations Officers practices. He leads the Manufacturing and Industrial Tech sectors as well as the firm’s sustainability work in DACH.
Experience
Roman works primarily with clients in the innovation, digitalization, and internet of things space for established and start-up companies in the building products space as well as in the electronics, robotics, high tech, automation, and sensors sectors.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Roman worked for 12 years with Robert Bosch GmbH in China, Germany, and Switzerland. He was a member of the company’s business unit board Powertool Accessories with worldwide responsibility for marketing and sales. In this role, Roman helped design, shape, and implement two global transformation projects, the one focusing on digitalization, including setting up a global digital unit, and the other on customer-centricity and agility, including simplifying the organizational matrix.
Roman began his career as a senior business analyst for a global management consultancy company. Roman was a curator of the German branch of the Club of Rome, a worldwide renowned think tank for a sustainable future of humankind. He is fluent in German and English.
