Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Advancement in Healthcare Private Equity

Andy Caine and Tanya Hayes, both partners at Frazier Healthcare Partners in human capital and ESG, discuss Frazier’s unique approach to diversity and inclusion.

Heidrick & Struggles’ Phyllis Schneble speaks to Andy Caine and Tanya Hayes, both partners at Frazier Healthcare Partners in human capital and ESG, about Frazier’s unique approach to diversity and inclusion. It starts, Caine explains, in that they are very intentional about D&I as four distinct areas: diversity, equity, inclusion, and advancement. Frazier has created performance metrics around each specific area and has a data-centric perspective for understanding and measuring their progress.

Hayes and Caine stress the value in Frazier being a good role model for its portfolio companies, offer some advice for leaders who want to step up their performance around diversity, equity, inclusion, and advancement, and discuss how companies can broaden their talent pool and prepare and enable candidates with varying qualifications or background for success.
